It is great to be speaking to the super duo Lokixximo today. How did you come up with that name?
When we started doing mixtapes back in days in High School people always used to tell us "Your lyrics too crazy", and people really thought we were really crazy, every time there was a festival we used to jump on stage and just tear it up without even asking the promoters, that's where the name Lokixximo came from.

How did you guys meet and decide to form a duo?
Bonao: We have known each since High School, that's more than 10 years, we are more than brothers now, our friendship comes before everything and that's why we have been so successful as a duo.  I have always in the Latin rap scene since I was really young, the first song I recorded was "Mision de la Calle" with Mr Pearl & P Pham, the song came out crazy and it got selected for the mixtape "Juego Lakiao" hosted by Tony Sunshine (Terror Squad).   I went to college graduated but what I always really wanted was to pursue my rap career, one day I was in Jose's house chilling & we started writing a song together called "De niña a Mujer" and that's where we found the chemistry, a month later we had over 30 mixtape songs recorded & were doing paid shows in Massachusetts, the rest is history.

I have heard about many different things that you have coming up soon. Can you tell us about some of those projects?
We have a new video called "Las Campanas" featuring two Bronx legends, Ms Vanessa founder of the 1st musically martial arts tournaments & K Nine a former NSB member who used to tear up stages with the late great "Big Pun, the video is being edited right now, we are also preparing to release our first album "Los Locos Tambien Comen" with our new label
Jet Speed Records this summer 2008, our new Latin R&B artist "Louis Antony" will debuting his first official song "Life is Crazy" feat Jose Josexx on our cd , "Sueño New Yorkino" Volume 2 hosted by Dj Eon a mixtape releasing before the album, we are also excited about the anticipated "Lokixximo Santo Domingo Tour" starting June 9 through June 22nd, Bahamas Fashion Week from July 5 through July 12, in November we will be performing at the Reggaeton Fest in Canada with Baby Ranks, we haven't got the schedule for the New York summer festivals yet but we will be tearing up many stages throughout the city.

What has been your best experience in the Music Industry?
Just being able to express ourselves through our music & being heard by our fans is the most beautiful thing; every artist that takes this game seriously knows that it doesn't happen overnight and that it takes a lot consistency & dedication, that's one of the reasons our movement is unstoppable.

What has been your worst experience in the Music Industry?
Just dealing with the two faces of the industry is really a hustle, when you are coming up in the game you either walk through a path full of snakes & when you think you made it all doors are closed, or you can create your own path, it takes take a lot of hard work & sweat but it's building your own destiny.

What one action in your career do you feel has influenced your fans the most?
Just consistently releasing good music for the fans is what keeps them hungry for more, you can release a million songs but if fans don't like them, it's as if you haven't release anything.

Do you have anything that you would like to say to your fans?
Make sure you keep visiting our myspace to check all our upcoming shows & interviews, we have a lot more to accomplish & if you haven't downloaded our latest mixtape "Sueño

New Yorkino" VoL 1 visit our official website Mundony.com. We also have a new reggaeton compilation available on ITunes so make sure get that in your Lokixximo collection.
If you had to choose 1 car to represent your style of personality what color and style would each of you pick?
We would pick the 2nd Generation Toyota Supra Twin Turbo in black, it's not one of most expensive cars in world but it is one of the best race cars in the streets.  The power under the hood is always underestimated but always somehow delivers and the color black always represents power.

What has been the hardest thing to give up so that you could live your dreams of success in the Music Industry?
Nothing really, our family & friends have always known that this was the life we have chosen & they respect it, so it was never like doing a transition.  We have always been working on music & involve our family & friends in all projects, that's why our fans, friends & family feel so close to us because this is our lifestyle.

What keeps your heads up and hearts going strong in this Industry?
Fans & Music are our inspiration.

Do you have anything else that you think is important for our readers to know about you?
We want them to know that we don't make music for the radio, we make music for the people, for the low & middle class people, for all Latinos in jail, for all girls raising babies without fathers working two jobs & going to college, for every man unemployed because of the messed up system we live in, we are not here for the money or fame, we are here to make a difference in the world.

Do you have any shoutouts that you would like to give?
Shout out to "Add On" the best producer in the music industry after Dr Dre, our unstoppable movement, Vanessa Herrera, K Nine, Candela, Louis Antony, Fresco, Streetsrmine.com, Phaeda, Trap, Tish, Latin Roots promotions, Kevin Strakan, Dawn Cotter & Jet Speed records, Angela Star & Latin Industry Connection staff, Corrientelatina.com & all true Latin hip hop heads who appreciate our lyrics & determination, thanks.

Thank you very much for your time and I hope to see you guys soon!
